“Serpent symbolism is typically associated with desire, they also represent creativity and life force. They are immortalized at many sacred temples as guardians because of their natural tendency to “stand their ground” and fight, rather than retreat. The perfect protection for those sacred legs that get you where you need to go! “
But serpent symbolism goes beyond that. Google goes on to describe further:
“Historically, serpents and snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin through sloughing, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing. The ouroboros is a symbol of eternity and continual renewal of life.”
Whatever the serpent may mean or not mean to you, these ate gorgeous! They have a slight luminosity to them because of the pattern and blending of color. A new summer favorite of mine!
