Instead Of Starbucks…

How about healthier versions?

I’ll be the first to say, I am a Starbucks fan, coconut milk venti caramel macchiato frap, or S’mores Frap, 😋 yes please!!! And it’s undeniable these kind of drinks are super delicious. Of course they are, they are filled with sugar ☠️. But the more I learn to take care of my nutrition and health the less appetizing, even as a treat, Starbucks becomes 😢. So knowing there’s a better than tasty substitute for my favorite Starbucks drinks out there for it makes me do a happy dance 💃🏼

**** For the BEST taste/texture, I use ice and a blender! The more ice you add, the thicker it gets! Using almond, coconut or other milk product in some quantity vs. just water will make the consistency much smoother and more like a shake/smoothie/frap. This is just my own personal opinion and one of the BIG reasons I prefer Shakeology over other brands!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice (to desired texture)
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop Chocolate or Chocolate Vegan Shakeology
  • tsp. ground whole wheat graham cracker crumbs 
  • 1 tsp. ground whole wheat graham cracker crumbs 

Instructions

  1. Place almond milk, ice, extract, Shakeology, and 1 tsp. graham cracker crumbs in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a serving glass and garnish with remaining 1 tsp. graham cracker crumbs; serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup brewed black coffee, cooled
  • 1 scoop Chocolate or Chocolate Vegan Shakeology 
  • 1/8 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice (to desired texture)
  • leave off whipped cream & chocolate drizzle, it’s delicious enough without it!

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in the blender in the order listed and blend until smooth enough to drink through a straw.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup brewed blackcoffee, cooled
  • 1 scoop Chocolate or Chocolate Vegan Shakeology 
  • dash of cinnamon & dash of nutmeg for a more cappucino like copycat
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice (to desired texture)
  • leave off whipped cream & chocolate drizzle, it’s delicious enough without it!

Instructions

  1. Blend and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup brewed black coffee, cooled
  • 1 scoop Vanilla or Vanilla Vegan Shakeology
  • 1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa
  • ½ to 1 cup ice (to desired texture)

Instructions

  1. Place almond milk, brewed coffee, cocoa, Shakeology, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Ingredients:
For Bottom Layer:
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
½ cup ice
½ scoop Vanilla (or Vanilla Vegan) Shakeology

For Top Layer:
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
½ cup ice
½ scoop Café Latte (or Café Latte Vegan) Shakeology
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. pure caramel extract

Preparation:
For Bottom Layer:
1. Place almond milk, ice, and Shakeology in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
2. Pour into serving glass. Place glass in freezer while you blend the next layer.

For Top Layer:
1. Place almond milk, ice, Shakeology, cinnamon, and extract in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
2. Slowly pour into serving glass over bottom

Ingredients

  • 4 oz vanilla almond milk
  • 6 oz brewed black coffee, cooled
  • 1 scoop Chocolate or Chocolate Vegan Shakeology
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice (to desired texture)

Instructions

  1. Pour all ingredients into your blender, mix & drink!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • caramel extract (to taste, 1 drop at a time)
  • 1 scoop Cafe Latte’ Shakeology or Cafe Latte’ Vegan Shakeology
  • dash of Himalayan pink salt or sea salt
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice (to desired texture)

Instructions

  1. Pour all ingredients into your blender, mix & enjoy!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ tsp. caramel extract (to taste, 1 drop at a time)
  • 1 scoop Vanilla or Vanilla Vegan Shakeology
  • 1 cup brewed black coffee, cooled
  • ½frozen banana
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice (to desired texture)

Instructions

  1. Mix all in a blender & drink up!

Instructions

  1. Place coffee, extract, Shakeology, cocoa powder, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

  • 1 shot espresso
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup canned pure pumpkin

  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice (to desired texture)
  • *extra cinnamon & nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Add all to blender, mix & drink! *Extra cinnamon & nutmeg can be sprinkled on top!

  • 2 drops peppermint extract
  • 6 pre-made coffee ice cubes (just use brewed black coffee, pour in ice cube tray and freeze)

Instructions

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Cafe Latte’ Shakeology or Cafe Latte’ Vegan Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut water beverage
  • 2 tsp. unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup ice
  • unsweetened coconut chips (optional)

     

Instructions

  1. Place almond milk, coconut water, Shakeology, coconut, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  2. Top with unsweetened coconut chips (optional)

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup brewed black coffee (or espresso)
  • 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp. raw honey (optional)
  • ¼ tsp. pure peppermint extract
  • 1 cup ice (to desired texture)
  • 1 fresh mint leaf (for garnish; optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring milk, cocoa powder, and honey (if desired), and peppermint extract to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  2.  Remove from heat; mix vigorously with a whisk until frothy.in medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Pour coffee into a large serving mug; top with milk mixture.
  4. Garnish with mint leaf if desired.
