I am a Usui Reiki Level 1 Practitioner trained under Reverend Brien Egan.  And am maintaining membership at the  Just be. Reiki Practitioner Collective at Just Be, in Virginia Beach, VA and will resume residency when I am in town and on my subsequent future return to the area.

Usui Shiki Ryoho, the Usui System of Natural Healing, is a Japanese Healing Art. This form was founded in Japan . Reiki was introduced out of Japan via Hawaii in 1937 by Hawayo Takata Sensei. It is passed on from one person to another through a specific teachings and a defined form of practice. The session consists of hand positions held for a few minutes in a specific order. This is the formal treatment practice. The informal treatment is any hand position that is practiced with the consent of the person being treated for as long as is necessary.

In Holy Fire Reiki the Holy Fire energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness. It’s considered a form of an upgrade to the Usui Reiki modality, a refinement in attunement. Whereas in Usui Reiki the attunement is passed from Reiki Master to student through a long line of teachers, Holy Fire is a direct link to source energy. Source energy has been called by many names; higher power, God, the source energy of creation. If you are of religious doctrine, it is considered a gift from God. If you are a scientist, it’s more a form of vitalism. To those in medicine Reiki is parallel to therapeutic touch.

Archangel Light Reiki works within the “auric field” instead of physically hands on. Hands hover over your auric field to heal. I will incorporate this into my practice by also healing the auric energy field (think all those photos you see of pictures of peoples auras), any rips, or tears, fragmented areas). And then if permitted will work with the Usui modality to round out the healing session. This modality as well as Usui and Holy Fire also all work to align chakras.

Benefits of Reiki include but are not limited to:

    • Relaxation
    • Reduced Anxiety
    • Improved Digestion
    • Accelerated Surgical Recovery
    • Improved Sleep
    • Improved Pain Management
    • Reduced Depression
    • Enhanced Wellbeing
    • Reduced Side Effects from Chemotherapy & Radiation Treatments
    • Stronger Self-Esteem
    • Greater Self-Awareness
    • Feelings of Peace, Security & Wellbeing

What to expect during a Reiki session:

Each Reiki treatment lasts about an hour and can focus on either specific healing or general relaxation. It’s ideal for treating specific ailments or simply spoiling yourself with a wonderful form of relaxation. Ann tailors each chakra therapy treatment to the client’s specific needs and conditions. Clients remain fully clothed throughout the session.

During your holistic healing session, I will rest my hands for a few minutes on specific areas of your body — such as your head, torso, legs, or back — while allowing energy to pass into this area. You may experience a variety of different bodily sensations during the treatment. Some feel the “electricity” passing through their limbs; others feel tingling or warm sensations through our energy activation services. Some smell scents, see visions, or feel as though they have reverted to the safety of the womb; others simply fall asleep. All of these experiences are merely side effects of the healing process, and it is best to enter treatment with no specific expectations. If you are uncomfortable with being touched during the session, I can instead work with your auric field with my hands hovering above your body.

Distance Reiki
Reiki has no limitations of time and space. Enjoy this effective Japanese system for relaxation and healing in the comfort of your own home.

Please note that Reiki is a complementary practice and is not a substitute for medical treatment. All clients should continue to see their physicians or therapists in conjunction with Reiki treatments.

“The scientific explanation of Reiki, as with all other hands on
energetic healing modalities is that it works through the energy system of the
body. The scientific principle of resonance is at work here whereby we are
raising our energy level and thereby others around us with reverberated energy
from our increased vibrational quality thus encouraging and increasing the
capacity for healing. The person heals themselves; we just help make them
strong enough energetically to heal.”
