Rapid Fire Book Tag

Rapid Fire Book Tag: It was originally made by #GirlReading, so  stop by and check her out on her Youtube. Big thanks to James @ this-is-my-truth-now for posting this and letting people swipe it 😉

Question 1: E-Book or Physical Book?

I’m one of those who love the feel of a book in my hands, turning pages, the paper & ink scent. But it’s easier to kindle, so I do both. Depends where and when I read

Question 2 : Paperback or Hardback?

Paperbacks generally. They’re lighter weight and more compact. Easier to hold too. But for a series, or book I adore, I get hardback. I have these series in hardback; Harry Potter, The Vampire Chronicles and my Tolkein.

Question 3 : Online or In-Store Book Shopping?

Usually the bookstore, unless I know a release date and pre-order through amazon. I love roaming the bookstore. I love that so many have cafe/coffee shops in them now!

Question 4 : Trilogies or Series?

Question 5 : Heroes or Villains?

I prefer characters that are a little of both. I really like when a villain becomes a hero.

Question 6 : A book you want everyone to read?

The Four Agreements By: don Miguel Ruiz. I’m very into personal development and this book/series is beautiful and profound!

Question 7 : Recommend an underrated book?

Question 8 : The last book you finished?

Girl On The Train – It actually took me forever to get through this. I think I’m one of few who just wasn’t captivated and hooked.

Question 9 :The Last Book(s) You Bought?

Ego Is The Enemy – Currently reading, and loving!

Question 10 : Weirdest Thing You’ve Used as a Bookmark?

Yes, and library books!

Question 12 : Top Three Favorite Genres?

Horror (not slasher), Mystery, Personal Development, Cookbooks (ok 4)

Question 13 : Borrow or Buy?

Buy usually, unless it’s my occasional trip to the library. Then, when done if I don’t like the book that much, I donate to the library.

Question 14 : Characters or Plot?

Plot is what keeps me reading

Question 15 : Long or Short Books?

Short to middle ground. Long books, I lose interest and usually have to go back and start again.

Question 16 : Long or Short Chapters?

Question 17 : Name The First Three Books You Think Of…

It By: Stephen King

Edgar Allen Poe: Complete Tales and Poems By: Edgar Allen Poe

Prince Lestat By:Anne Rice

Question 18 : Books That Makes You Laugh or Cry?

Cry. I’m oddly not that into comedy. Not even on TV or with movies.

Question 19 : Our World or Fictional Worlds?

Def fictional worlds, or worlds based on history of our world

Question 20 : Audiobooks: Yes or No?

Nope, they put me to sleep

Question 21 : Do You Ever Judge a Book by its Cover?

I suppose. But I’m more of an author follower so…

Question 22 : Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?

Hmmm, movie. Bigger than life, ya know?

Question 23 : A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred to its Book?

I’m not sure I preferred the movie adaption, but I thought Lord of the Rings was just as good in both formats. (I agree with James on this)

Question 24 : Series or Standalone?

Series def!

I am not tagging anyone specifically as this is the kind of tag everyone should do. So please jump on this little bandwagon! I expect at least 5 people to go for it! 🙂

Inspired & Grateful

I’m seriously in awe and so inspired by my mentor & friend Amy. I’m grateful I found her as a coach, which turned into a mentor and now becoming a real friend. All the photo’s she’s been sharing from her Elite 10 trip (A gift from the company for making and keeping (4 years in a row) a  top ten team #SYSOF) and the extended vacation time she’s been able to financially cover because of the growth of her business!! This is so motivating 😍 I just had to share with you guys and give her a BIG shout out for all of the amazing work she does leading our team every year to the TOP 10! She is enjoying an all-expense, paid, DREAM vacation for her and her hubby to Italy & Greece and she, without a doubt earned every last bit of it 🙌
When I first started my own coaching business, I did it for the extra accountability, and the discount for my Shakeology. But I’ve quickly realized that I  can create a business that will take me places that I’ve only dared to dream of in the past 👌 I’m going all in on my goals because I have a leader like Amy and all the training to know that I can dream big. 💥 She sets the bar high for herself and us, and she puts in the work & shows us all that we can do it too. Knowing what Amy has achieved in just 6 years as a coach empowers me to dream big and want to reach out to others so they can dream big and make it happen for themselves too!
Thank you Amy for showing me & the #SYSOF team to always live with passion, be true to yourself, set your dreams high, and believe you can achieve them❣️

This was one of her latest posts as her trip took a turn into Greece ( They were previously touring Italy!!)…

I still can’t believe I’m here. A saying really sticks out to me as I text my up and coming rockstars from my team and ask them where they want me to take them when they hit Elite this year. You know what the saying is? “Wether you think you can or you cant, you’re right!” So when I look at the people who quit or fail and hurt the people around them by giving up on something that was once very important to them as I check off bucket list after bucket list, I think…man that would really REALLY suck and I’m glad I’m not them. I don’t EVER want that feeling. Not only because of what my hard work and dedication to helping people live a better life has gotten me but mostly the people around me. If your word is worth nothing, neither are you and I may not be perfect not at least I have that. I find people who finish what they started to be incredible humans. Those are my people! #integrity #selflove #milos #sysof #greece #pma

This is what 6 years of putting in the work did for Amy and will do for our TOP 10 Team, for ME and maybe even for you.  Not only only for your body, but your mind, and your lifestyle as well. You are in charge of where you set your sails to.  I am inspired and am on a Top 10 Team. You can be trained by a Top 10 Team! Join My Team

Give Them Your Blood

World Health Organization – World Blood Donor Day

My husband and I give blood pretty regularly. I’m type ONeg so my blood is pretty popular at the blood bank. It’s a simple procedure. Thirty minutes of your time and a bit of your blood, and you may be saving a life. Just the thought of that makes me teary eyed. An act so simple and you could be helping to give the gift of life to someone else. Powerful stuff right there, isn’t it❣️
