1. make sure you’re actually registered to vote:

Then ask family, friends, and co-workers if they are registered.

3. join your local Climate Lobby:
The Citizens Climate Lobby is a great organization that will put you in touch with your legislators. They will help you successfully advocate for a carbon tax, and equip you with the tools to be a more active citizen.
4. check your investments & where you shop
Do they lobby, give money, or support the fossil fuel industry? Know where YOUR money is being spent!
5. email your reps & take action:
Take a look at your local Sierra Club Chapter and find the section where they have bills currently in your legislature and actions you can take to be involved.
6. stop using single-use plastics:

7. eat plant-based:
It’s that simple to lower your carbon footprint. You can start with Meatless Monday as a start. Then browse the web for some delicious Vegan/Vegetarian recipes and change your life and health, forever!
